The Wireless Manager (WM) is a ceiling or wall mounted control device that collects, processes and communicates lighting control information to ENCELIUM control modules, wallstations, and other devices via a mesh network based on ZigBee® standards. Each WM typically can control up to 100 nodes. The WM is the central intelligence point in the system. It collects signal information from photo sensors (light levels), occupancy sensors (occupancy status) and wallstations (wall-mounted lighting controllers). It then determines appropriate brightness levels or ON/OFF status for each fixture and zone. Photo sensors/occupancy sensors do not directly control light levels but rather are connected to the wireless network and provide information to the WM. The WM then determines what action to take based on the status signals from the sensors.
